Thanks for mentioning this. I’d been looking for a box of some kind for around this kind of money and wasn’t completely sold on the Pelican case ideas. When retailing at $50 it’s worth about as much (or more, heh) than some of what’ll get stored inside, but I don’t care. It’s exactly what I need for my early collecting phase.

The Teal/Turquoise/Green beauty above is my favourite, but just to say Creation has a few other SPRCs:ttl2 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 6:13 pm I also posted a Deal for this beaut "elsewhere" which comes to £141 (approx $182) with that Valentine's code at Creation V1414:
Black IP Case/Bracelet Seiko 5 Sports Bottle Cap SRPC65 Teal Dial Automatic, 4R36, Hardlex, 100M Water Resistance (Creation describe it as "Turquoise", looks more "Teal" to me)
https://www.creationwatches.com/product ... 13990.html
(Not my picture, got it from Google Images):
[img][/img]
Seiko 5 Sports Bottle Cap Automatic SRPC63 SRPC63K1 SRPC63K Men's Watch is also £141/$182 with code FD98Fhttps://www.creationwatches.com/product ... 13989.html
[img][/img]
The "Bottle Caps" I've linky-ed are all "K" versions - https://www.creationwatches.com/product ... bottle+cap
but Creation has the "J"s as well (much more expensive, though) - https://www.creationwatches.com/product ... yword=srpc
The 45mm dial diameter puts some off, but according to a few reviewers it wears a few mm smaller, due to the shape of the lugs/dial.
PS: There's another hot topic discussed where I originally posted - does anyone know the situation about duty/customs with Creation? If I'm not allowed to mention I don't mind if you delete my comment.
Some say to choose Registered Airmail (free)/No Box. Others say to choose Royal Mail option/No Box. Apparently Customs/HMRC are very hot on catching out low declared item parcels these days (actually received one recently - the Aliexpress-bought Xiaomi Youpin Automatic W001M/Rado Coupole Classic "homage" - postman handed it over, no charge).

Not the brightest lume out there - here's a comparison - left to right is the Alpina, Helm Vanuatu (BGW9), Helson Shark Diverskylinegtr_34 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 8:58 pmCongrats! But that Alpina is a beauty, thanks for the lume shot.

I didn't know that Creationwatches declare lower value for their watches. Are they?ttl2 wrote: PS: There's another hot topic discussed where I originally posted - does anyone know the situation about duty/customs with Creation? If I'm not allowed to mention I don't mind if you delete my comment.

From my experience, with DHL express free shipping, you will pay ALL customs duties.

Heh, well advice would be to double the size of the watch box and then factor it by 5-6. This is an infectious hobby that takes allot to kick so buy big the first time!deckeda wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 8:43 pmThanks for mentioning this. with code "lookoflove." Most notably, I think, you can pick up this six-piece watch box for only $25.

Jenny, Doxa, Armida, Seiko, Dagaz, Zelos, Bulova, Dan Henry, Alpina, Certina, Orient, Victorinox, Momentum, Rolex.... and those are just the divers!
Re: Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! 2019
Yeah, I had a box that would hold 8 watches, then I bought another one that would hold 20 and I still have watches without a home. I really think I need to reduce my collection to fit in the boxes I have. Of course, it would just be easier to buy another box, or maybe a half dozen winders...ticktockhack wrote:Heh, well advice would be to double the size of the watch box and then factor it by 5-6. Just remembered I still have a $20 8 slot wolf box from 2 years ago that I haven't even taken out of the box yet. [emoji21]

Luminox XCOR titanium chronograph for $500. Retail $1900. Camel3x low $617. Current ebay low $600. Prices are all over the place for this one, but this is the lowest I could find.

No, I haven't made it clear, the Xiaomi Youpin was from the WUS thread (kudos, No1VIPER) and was an Aliexpress listing. Not sure what Creation's postal/Customs practices are as I've not ordered - yet.Aeryn wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 8:09 amI didn't know that Creationwatches declare lower value for their watches. After helping a member here find this watch, I realize that it is quite a good deal for under $40 USD. It was out of stock or over $90 on the first 60 or so sites I searched. Since he already got his, I share it here in case others want to get one.
