Re: 2019 Watch Mod of the Year

Not sure if this one counts. I did the mod, but gave it to my FIL as a father's day present, so it's not mine any more. Mod 3: -Invicta 8926 base (engraving removed from case, and then case sanded and re-polished) -Dagaz FFF dial and sword hand set -Esslinger yellow seconds hand -random etsy bezel i...

Re: 2019 Watch Mod of the Year

Mod 2, the SARBro: Not much info on modding SARBs. Most people think they are perfect. I thought it would be a great home for a rhodium relief dial! Everyone using these dials was going with 36mm explorer type cases or 40mm sub cases. A 39 explorer was out of the question since the dial was too smal...

Re: 2019 Watch Mod of the Year

Looks like my favorite mod was done in November 2018, so ineligible. I am working on two currently, just waiting for a dial that should be here this week. Time will tell if it is my new favorite, but I am feeling good about this one!

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk Loving it. How is the bracelet? I know the rubber I got on mine was leaps and bounds better than the SKX, hoping the bracelet is too! Pretty great watch for the price (we) paid though eh? Haven't tried it on yet, that was a photo straight from the box. Will let ...

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

This morning I chose this for signed crown Sunday, but here is a bonus Star Wars ornament. This star destroyer always seems be lurking on the tree somewhere near the Death Star. Thanks Dub! https://i.imgur.com/i9KjQUF.jpg Not gonna lie. A big part of me allowing this compliance is because I am a li...

And smart move not taking the trip. To me it feels the universe was trying to tell you something. . . and more importantly, you listened.

[emoji23] I am dying over here! When Sdelkas journey started, I can promise you that I did not foresee her being part of a chipmunk workout military prep. Absolutely incredible.

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

Went to dinner with some of the wife's extended family for an early Christmas(her crazy side of the family that we don't do actual christmas with). Was gonna wear a vintage Seiko, but it was pouring out and didn't want to truat 50 year old seals. Went with Sexy Lug Saturday instead. https://uploads....

Seiko Saturday. Still breaking in the strap. https://i.imgur.com/1x4sQKM.jpg That looks awesome! I haven't seen too many of the new gen STO turtles. Looks fantastic on leather. Seiko Saturday compliance. I stopped in at T-Mobile to turn in my iPhone 11 Pro since the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren I pre-...

Re: Best place for Seiko movement replacement?

I wish I had a little more faith in myself. Modding my own watches is one thing, but I don't trust myself with someone else's. That being said, Seiko movements are VERY forgiving. You say your not handy with mods, but really, the ONLY tricky part about this swap is the seconds hand. I would be more...
