The other method is donations from members and visitors. These are completely voluntary and there is no obligation. Any donations go directly towards site operations and are greatly appreciated. Click here to donate today.

Re: 2020 New and Upcoming Releases!

Sorry for the poor quality images......best I can find at the moment but I'll try to remember to update at some later point. You might remember these October releases from Seiko HERE. Well meow Seiko is releasing similarly styled 3-hand Presage models with either white/silver, black or green dials....

Re: Fluoroelastomer Straps - IMO, the best "rubber" straps

Just got mine as well. No smell. Good thickness: 4mm at the lugs and 3mm at the buckle. Soft and smooth like silicone, yet doesn't pick up lint and dust. Nice sturdy buckle to boot. Great strap for <$10. Thanks Nsjong for the rec! I have a 7" wrist and I'm on the third inner hole of 8. https://i.img...

Returning/Shipping a watch to Poland... Any issues?

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can offer some insight/advice. I bought a blue Avantgarde from Vratislavia Conceptum, based in Poland. The watch came defective--a chip in the dial, which the owner knew about but shipped to me anyway without any disclosure. I sent him an e-mail about it and he's offered t...

Re: Rakuten Global & Ebates

I actually tried on the Aquis during this time and realized it's a bit too big for my liking anyway, even though the green is absolutely stunning. Just a heads up. A 39.5mm version of the green Oris Aquis was just announced should you find yourself interested again. https://monochrome-watches.com/o...

Re: Rakuten Global & Ebates

Did you ever have any luck getting your cash back for this purchase? It's a bit confusing because all the watch listings from GOSH say the shipping is with Japan Post EMS, not Sagawa Express. Short answer, no. Long answer... 2/3: I receive an e-mail from the seller, GOSH, confirming that they will ...

Re: Rakuten Global & Ebates

Well crap. I bought the green Oris Aquis from Rakuten Global that I posted in HUISABH and apparently the seller GOSH uses a freight forwarding service and Ebates won't give me the 20% cash back  Has this happened to anyone else? Did you ever have any luck getting your cash back for this purcha...

Re: Rakuten Global & Ebates

Sorry yellowbear... just read your post more carefully and saw that the seller used Sagawa Express, not JP Post EMS. I would still fight it with Ebates. The point is that the seller was supposed to ship and acceptable way and did not! That's not your fault. FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!! That was the main ...
