Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

Ole Yeller and I spent the day trying to get some work done while waiting on a new watch to arrive. The tracking on the package went silent. I know it is the least important thing in the world right now, but I think someone is trying to tell me that I don’t need another watch 8-) . https://i.imgur.c...

Re: “I screwed up my nice new watch”: a thread to confess and sympathize with each other

I appreciate everyone sharing their stories because I feel that I am at the point in this hobby where I know just enough to be dangerous. When you mix in a bit of complacency along with "not knowing what you don't know"...well, that is where I need to be careful. It also feels bad to hit the "like" ...

I think I am about to order several more of these single pass elastic straps. This one was purchased for my yellow Vostok but it’s doing pretty well on the flightmaster 8-) .

Re: Show Off Your New Watch

Been going a little crazy lately with purchases. My 50th was last week and I new a was going to get a new watch for myself. My wife gave up trying to pick ones out for me years ago. Anyway I knew I wanted something that would have longevity in my collection. When I was 10 my mom and I gave my dad a...

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

If there is any upside to me still going to the office every day, it is that I appreciate Saturday at home with the family even more. This Seiko Saturday is from HUISAB on a Christmas gift president bracelet. And I may have been watch shopping last night after I finished that Jameson a few posts up...

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

I have to admit that I came home at lunch to help my wife keep our son occupied while she tried to work, and I ended up changing watches. This thing calls to me! Here is a stretch single pass from the CNS sale. I was frustrated last night because it looks great but it would not tuck. I pushed and pu...

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

Happy Friday guys! Actually in the field today. Although very limited, surgery still goes on. After the purchase of this watch, I'm seriously considering selling the majority of my watches https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200327/1426fe4a6c552ecf1a575f85024b5453.jpg Let's be Instagram friends @bbr...

Re: LWDS (The Legion of Watch Deal Seekers)

Happy Friday everyone! I have a confession to make. Yesterday it was supposed to get up to 80 degrees here, so I wore a short sleeve shirt for the first time in a while. That meant that I couldn't pull off my two watch trick where I try to hide my running watch up my right sleeve while enjoying a re...

When life gives you almost eight dozen eggs and some petit sirloin that needs to be cooked or frozen, you have steak and eggs for breakfast.
