Re: Altoids Tin Springbar Kits- Are You Interested?
No worries, you are down for one full kit. I am going to give it a few days and then I will place an order. With any luck there will be enough interest that I can get enough springbars to make a few extra kits so that I don’t need to have constant wait lists. Ooh ooh ooh. When I had seen the preview...

Re: Altoids Tin Springbar Kits- Are You Interested?
I re-checked the math and the insert and tin only version should be $15 and not $12. I will honor the $12 price for recapt though since he got in before I caught the mistake.

Re: Altoids Tin Springbar Kits- Are You Interested?
Awesome... Count me in for the $12 version! And orange tweezers if I get to pick the color! I think that orange is a good color here for a good reason. If I do offer a choice, it will be orange or white. Orange will be the default. I am only planning on making the inserts in white plastic at the mo...

Re: Altoids Tin Springbar Kits- Are You Interested?
I should note that Split-Time and ManOnTime have the previous version of this and can speak to its usefulness. They were my beta testers and as such received the kit or partial kit in exchange for feedback on the design. Note: I am not paying for an endorsement ...

Altoids Tin Springbar Kits- Join the Waiting List
F0576C74-C13C-47D0-8B5D-0115C9D310F6.jpeg I am just testing the waters to see how much interest there is in me making some springbar kits that have the most common sizes in a quality that is higher than those cheap sets from China. Oh yeah, it is in a better container to boot. 3D printed and design...

Re: SUPER CHEAP AFFORDABLE WATCHES! - THE $20 OR LESS THREAD
EMS branded Momentum Himalaya, which is appears to be the name that Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) thought fit in with their brand better than ‘Atlas’. 38mm, titanium with a mineral crystal. These usually go for ~$65 or so, but it was listed as broken, so I snagged it for $18.67 shipped. I figured it...

Re: WRUW
Momentum Titanium EMS branded Himalaya (Atlas). Was advertised as broken and not working, but only needed a battery and a bit of cleaning. Solid pickup for less than $20.

A rare signed crown Sunday from me with the Cincinnati Watch Company Cincinnatus. When I finally take this watch off, I plan to fill in the crown engraving with gold paint to match the dial.

Re: SUPER CHEAP AFFORDABLE WATCHES! - THE $20 OR LESS THREAD
I lucked out at our Walmart — looked like they were emptying the jewelry case due to remodeling. These are all models I’ve admired. The $5 Forester isn’t running atm, but I have a surplus of batteries — one of them must fit. The $15 G-Shock has the nice feature of showing the time while in timer or...

Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
OK, I bought a watch for myself. Looking at last year’s purchases I have been restrained this year and am being more selective. Momentum EMS Himalaya that appears to be a renamed Atlas. This one has a bad movement, but I got it for ~$19 shipped and these usually go for triple that. Adding a new move...
