As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Thank you! I hate the term “Minty” with a passion. So is it in “mint” condition, nearly in “mint” condition, or was it cleaned with toothpaste?

I absolutely loathe having to update a resume.

And getting laid off from work sucks too.

Thanks
You and me both.

But updating a resume, online applications, and interviews are pretty painful. ;)

Eek. Sorry to hear 👎👎👎

Things have a way of working out though, and I'm sure this will all work out for the best in the end. Godspeed

Brands talking about how they don’t give discounts on Black Friday. Do you really need to broadcast that because when you do, it makes you come off like a rich di**.

Dear WatchGecko,

Having a 10% promo code for BF/CM doesn't count as a sale when you have an active 10% discount code every other single day of the year. At least get rid of the exclamation points :!:

Thanks,

yinzburgher

When USPS informed delivery says that my package was delivered in the mailbox, but it's not really there. My mailman just scanned all his packages to be in time. I'm sure it'll be there tonight or tomorrow.

How about another crap on USPS complaint. My Oris was out for delivery and required signature. I tell my wife to keep an eye on the door to sign. I check informed delivery and my crappy mail man said he attempted to deliver but no one was home to sign. Now I have to wait another day.

Edit: rereading it could be taken as my wife didn't answer the door. Not the case, my mailman was lazy and didn't want to walk to the door.
