As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

It's hard to agree with someone who favors Man U, but you're right -- it sucks!
Re: Complaint of the Day
Can someone explain to a casual fan (Liverpool) why this is a bad thing?

---------
It's bad because it will destroy the national leagues. Not only the top divisions, but also the lower leagues because the money will not filter down to help the smaller clubs, who are having a hard time anyway. I'm sure, therefore, that player development will be crushed.

This article does a good job explaining things.

Our judicial system sucks.
Note: This is not intended to be political in any way and related to the recent national events. This is purely related to my practice of law.

Re: Complaint of the Day
Why are are software companies always messing with their interfaces? If it works, just. leave. it. alone.
Another thing. I am a longtime Ubuntu Linux user. I tried version 18 -- it was okay but buggy. Version 20 is quite buggy and their new UI is very difficult to use. Guess I'll see what Debian is up to these days. Last time I used Debian there was always a way to get what you wanted if you were willing to mess with it enough.

I just loaded Ubuntu Desktop 20.x as a virtual machine.
Good grief. The UI looks similar to how it has for a few years now, but yeah, bug city.
