As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I received notification today that I am pre-approved and that the foster dog family will be contacting me. In the meantime, they have updated the ad with more recent photos: https://www.petstablished.com/pets/public/388555
Looks like you guys were probably right. At first I felt like I might have overreacted after seeing the new photos. But all of us have either been burned or known people have been burned by fake ads. I think it was healthy skepticism.
Nothing wrong with healthy skepticism.
And she looks like a very happy girl.
I'm sure she is going to be going to a loving home to be properly spoiled by you, cel4145!
It's not certain yet. If she has a problem with my ever growing watch collection, there's no way it can work out
I adopted Sandy last night. She is already making herself at home:

I have not shown her the watch collection yet [emoji38]
That's awesome! What a great end to that story. And she is already getting cozy in her New home. Good man, and what a cute baby she is! (Jesus, the woman is really rubbing off on me)

The real question is, can you make her wear watches yet? [emoji23]

Over the past week I have used five different word processors, and all of them have some crippling issue that makes them frustrating to use. LibreOffice, my go-to, decided to turn my ODT files into plain text, Word has an extremely slow equation editor, the Google Docs WP is just overall bad, and I can't figure out how to make LaTeX indent my paragraphs, despite exactly copying the online guide's code. Why can't one processor do everything? Why do I have to figure out how to use three different ones just to get all the functionality I need? It's not like I'm a power user or anything. I just want to write papers!

Was a Petsmart getting some dog food with my son and my bulldog Greta, they were having a pet adoption.
My son was checking out the dogs and I grabbed a seat with Greta waiting for my son. A lady asks her husband if he likes this dog and she points to Greta.
They start to ask about adoption, we ended up having a good laugh.
