I've been looking at TDI A3s. If I went that route, it would be getting a DPF and EGR delete as well as catless downpipe, straight exhaust (with just a resonator) and some APR goodies.

Oh yeah, and some better tires. I'm loving these Advan Sport A/S+ I put on the Fusion Energi.

(Maybe we need to start a car chat thread in General Discussion [emoji38] )
Ahhh, the Minnesota life. California makes your car basically un moddable. That said, just keep things reversible. My 16V has a full race header, intake and chipped ECU. But I have a test pipe, stock ECU and airbox that I have to put on every two years for smog testing.

And speaking of tires, these were my favorites that I owned aside from getting like 12K miles out of them[emoji23].

Lets start that car chat!

We also have crappy fuel. Impossible to anything above 93. At least I can find E85. Has some started the car thread?

We run the gamut of fuel types here. 87-93, non-oxy, plenty of stations even carry leaded and unleaded race fuels. Oh, and chuck a rock and you'll hit a station with E85. Most of the big hitters around here are built specifically for it.

Lucky! There are literally three stations in the south Bay Area that sell E85 and none in Monterey.

I suppose it helps to be in the land of corn and ethanol subsidies. ;)

It was just started! It's an extension of the discussion we were having over in the inner circle. We started chatting cars after I had a post about me and my father in law doing a track day Laguna Seca. Hopefully we can keep this one going. Here's mine.

Anybody watching F1? Austrian Grand Prix practice started today. Nice to watch live racing as opposed to virtual.

My son loves F1 (because he's five and racecar). We usually start watching at qualifying, but we will for sure watch practice today since it's been so long.

Just put H&R springs on my S4. Dropped it about 3/4 of an inch. Going to do a few cosmetic mods and then performance ones before we go out to the track.

The fronts we're a pain in the ass and we thought the rear would be cake. Rear passenger took a couple of hours, but once we figured it out the rear driver took less than 45 minutes.

Nothing special, just a dash shot since I like how it looks lit up.

Yes, that is an LCARS overlay on the center stack.

Saw this when I walked by the Hot Wheels display at Target this afternoon, so I had to get it. If I could build a replica of any car from the glory days of BTCC, this would be it. I'd have to add Prancing Moose badges though.

I watched the Styrian GP this morning, not as exciting as last week's but still nice to watch live racing. I lost the TV to The Fixies, so no Indy right now. Nap time is coming shortly and I'll take it back over... Haha.
