The Ugliest Word in the English Language
This is about sound, not meaning.
What in your mind is the ugliest-sounding word in the language?
My 2nd most ugly sounding word is hashtag. I have to grit my teeth when someone says it.
But to me the ugliest-sounding word is when the red stuff that you pour on your hamburger is spelled and pronounced catsup.
Yeek! Who could eat a feline's meal?

Refractometer is to me more disturbing than ugly.
It sounds like a device used in a dungeon along side an iron maiden.
Smegma. I'll show myself out, now.

Just my $0.02 USD as always.

I'm studying for a work-mandated certification and they keep talking about taints. Taint this, taint that, taints everywhere! I'm really struggling with this chapter, cause apparently I'm 5 years old.

6 year old checking in. Can confirm, that would be difficult. Hopefully your employer doesn't ask you to do any taint-related presentations. Also, it's worth remembering, not everyone thinks taint is ugly.peskydonut wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 9:13 am I'm studying for a work-mandated certification and they keep talking about taints. Sorry, didn't mean to fake you out with a screenshot of a video. I'm sure there plenty other videos on the topic, just have your family clear the room.Split-Time wrote: ↑Mon Dec 28, 2020 12:46 pmVideo will not play ! If you need some good night reading, these are the kinds of taints I'm actually studying. (Kubernetes- software deployment infrastructure stuff)
