As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Wrist Check Monthly and Taking The Time want to raise as much as they can to make the best Christmas for four families.
The plan is to make each family's Christmas the very best possible from buying them presents to Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

WCW and TTT are looking to find four of the most deserving families, whether they have lost a family member due to their service of their country, whether they have been impacted due to COVID, whether they have lost their family home due to a natural disaster, whatever the situation, they just want to help.

The more you spend, the better we can do!

All the donations will be split equally between the four families and all receipts will be posted on our website, just to be as transparent as we can be!

There will be 4 families chosen: 2 families in the UK, 1 family in Arizona, and 1 family in Georgia.

If you know a family that should be nominated for consideration that could use their help, please follow the link below:

I hope they change things with this giveaway and make it so that all entrants are eligible to win one watch, regardless of how many tickets purchased.

In giveaways past, they have had people winning three or four or more of the prizes.

Regardless, I've donated.

Floating this one back up, as they're only at 56% of their £2,000 goal.
And currently 21 people have supported this endeavor.

The raffle ends on December 10, so plenty of time to join in if you're interested.
If you do participate, let them know you're a MoT member so they know where you heard about it.

Very important update!

Due to likely restrictions coming up because of COVID-19, Wrist Check Monthly have made the decision not to pick individual families to buy Christmas presents and Dinner, but to donate the funds raised to go to Action For Children Secret Santa campaign.

It’s a truly fantastic cause and if we hit our target, we will be getting 80 children a gift this Christmas.

And you can find out more information here about Action For Children.

Ticket sales close on Friday Dec, 17th and the draw will take place on Taking the Times FB Page (link below), this way we are able to buy what we need for the families chosen and should enable us enough time for the winners to receive their prizes before Christmas.

Important Update from Shaun at Wrist Check Monthly.

As most know already, Rich and I have been working hard this week, not only with getting our subs and Elite Sales this week but we have 10 anonymous tickets that have been bought for our Charity lottery.

We have asked that everyone email us with a screenshot of their purchase receipt but despite that, someone still hasn't.

We've gone through our emails and we've gone through our messages and can't tally it up.

So we're going to give it till Christmas Eve at 5pm, if the buyer of these tickets do not show a time stamped purchase, then they will forgo their tickets and we will carry on with the draw.

The draw is now set to 8pm gmt on the 24th of December.

I appreciate your patience for this draw, all but 1 prize is here anyway and we will be showcasing all of the prizes donated on the day of the draw.

If you purchased anonymously, please email us a screenshot of your ticket purchase with a date and time, so we can marry this up.
