As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking of you and Mrs. MoT the other day. I hope the 22nd goes well.

Re: Some Personal News
Mrs.MoT was able to have the sixth and final round of chemo today.
All kinds of emotions, and I don't quite know how to put them into words.
Her next appointment is on November 22 to discuss check-ups and things going forward.
It's been one heck of a year. Thank you all for the continued kindness and well wishes.

So happy for you both to be able to finally put all this behind you. Here’s to a year ahead with only radiation from TV screens, airplanes and household appliances!ManOnTime wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 3:40 pm Mrs.MoT was able to have the sixth and final round of chemo today.

Re: Some Personal News
Mrs.MoT and I met with her oncologist today. We're both very happy to let everyone know that she is now officially a NED!
NED means "No Evidence of Disease" and is the term oncologists use instead of remission, but it essentially means the same thing. There will be routine checkups going forward, but as of right now there is no more need for chemo, or radiation or any other intervention.
There was one hiccup at the appointment though. Mrs.MoT's picc line is no longer needed, but as they were taking it out it got stuck. We had to go to the hospital so they could use an ultrasound to guide it out the rest of the way. We were both laughing about it. Of course, there had to be one last bump at the last step.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to any of you who spared a thought or a wish or a prayer for Mrs.MoT, and thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing to be a part of this site. Without this place to distract me, I may have gotten lost. You all really are the best.
