Great pix DR!

I think most of you know we added a 2020 Hyundai Palisade to our fleet about a month ago. Still loving that vehicle. Another thing I had done with my last 2 cars is a digital rendering. It costs around $80 and you can have it customized right down to any decals you may have on your ride. Pretty cool. Great resolution for making posters, screensavers, etc.

Some of you know that some friends and I were in charge of the social media accounts for Powercruise this weekend. We covered everything from all the action on the track, the social/spectator life on the grounds and the night time parties. (One campsite even hired a live band for Friday night  ) I got back home yesterday afternoon and I am dog tired today, but four days and three nights of massive amounts of horsepower, tire smoke and not to mention beer will do that to a guy.

Here's just a couple of pictures from my weekend.

My rental:

Our camp, with 4 of 6 cars showing:

Some pro-pad side action:

This is my buddy's Land Rover Defender. He's putting it up for auction at Monterey Car Week. Super fun week for car enthusiasts. I'm going to try and hit up the Concours on the Avenue today in Carmel and will post pics if I can. Image

Monterey Car Week is bucket list for me. Everything I've ever read has mentioned that the parking areas are often as impressive as the events themselves.

Definitely, just walking or driving around you see some pretty amazing cars. It's great event because so much of it is free. I highly recommend it.

More news than photos, but it looks like Bollinger is going to unveil its production prototypes (and price) of the B1 and B2 electric trucks in September. If you don't know anything about Bollinger, it's worth a google. They are a startup that will manufacture a utilitarian EV truck and SUV. So far, they have been one of the few EV startups that appear to be on track to actually make something. The design is a bit polarizing, but I think they are really cool:

Here's a cool little 124 Abarth that someone in my building drives on some days. I dig the matte black hood.

Browsing the rest of his Instagram, I'm pretty sure it's a render. No Porsches were harmed in the making of this image.
