Got any initial thoughts now that you've had it for a couple weeks? Do you get revved at by teenagers non-R civics?

That sounds familiar. I tend to drive something until it's crumbling under me. Of course, the one we have now has to start doing it at the most inconvenient time!

Solid choice. I've got a 2017 Yukon Denali XL. It's a beast. Changed the air filter last night which was a pain though

The biggest takeaway has been how comfortable it is in Comfort mode. It's actually smoother around town than any of the Civic Si models I've owned. It has rev matching, too. Those two features combined lead to my wife feeling that it's very comfortable as a passenger.

Although I haven't really gotten on it yet, I do like how it has a more mechanical feel than other Hondas I've driven. It has some feedback that feels powerful and engaging through the shifter, pedals, butt, and steering. Hard to describe, but it's sort of like the grumble you get from a big V8 with a heavy duty tranny, but Honda-like. It's cool.

Are you telling me you haven't been rev matching your downshifts?!?(for the sake of your wife of course). Shame shame!!! I tried to explain the blip of the throttle upon downshift to the wife once. It fell on dead ears. Then I did a 3-2 downshift with no rev match from about 2.5k up to 3.5-4k. That literally shook some sense into her lol.

Definitely gave the track character. VIR reminds me of when you have a round of golf at Pinehurst. A month later you watch professionals on TV golf or drive the same course and you go.......dear god, so that's why they call 'em professionals. Humbling, but beautiful track. So happy it's an hour and 10 minutes from my house.
