I'm going to throw in a wildcard: Fiesta ST or Focus ST (or even RS).

All wheel drive is great, especially on mountain roads.

Not a hot hatch, but still got some pep.
I had a WRX about 15 years ago now. Of all the cars I’ve ever owned it’s still my favorite.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

The hatch version WRX was a fairly short window sadly.

Not a wild card. My focus ST was one of my favorite cars I've owned. If some dickhead hadn't totaled it, I would still be driving it. An amazingly fun car that has plenty of passing power and has a nice interior. Downside(for some, not me, it was actually a plus) is that they only come with a MT. But it is a nice one. It is such a perfect balance of an enthusiast car and usable in all scenarios car. Highly recommend.

Also, the handling was sublime. Predictable lift throttle oversteer is too effing fun. Great car 5 stars would recommend.
