As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July!

Post by watchpalooza »

Wishing all our U.S. members a fantastic Independence Day. I hope you get to grill, be with family, drink beer, shoot off or watch fireworks and otherwise celebrate being American.

Thank you! I most certainly will. I'm up in beautiful Plumas county where my parents live. Good ole fashion American Fourth of July: Fireworks, barn dance, and a parade.

Happy 4th! This seems like a good place to drop these pics I was impressed with. They are from a WUS user named guspech750. An Orient Mako 'Murica Mod.

That is definitely a watch strap win right there. Not that it is something that I would have occasion to wear, but if I went to ball games any more then I would definitely need one of these.

Celebrating the 4th with what Quite possibly the best burger in Germany. Double patties of slow-roasted rib meat, homemade bacon, rucola, melted gorgonzola cheese and cranberries on a homemade toasted dark sesame bun. Had to order salad wit it to compensate...

What was your plan of attack for that burger?!? Seperate your jaw like a snake? Looks crazy good though.

LOL. Had to eat it like a European, with fork and knife...very un-American.
