Hope's and dreams.

My take on this is that Rakuten spent a lot money on mass media ads these past holidays, probably don't feel the need for large RG rebates at this time.

For the next 13 days RGM is running a promotion of 10% points back on all purchases over approximately $80. An additional 5% can be earned by purchasing through the mobile app but this negates cash back. Maximum points earned is 10,000 (roughly $90) plus 5,000 max bonus for using the app. CB is currently the standard 4%.

Oh my God that's actually heartbreaking. I don't have the means to buy a watch right now, but I have literally bought SO many amazing watches from there in the past few years. I actually can't believe they're closing. They were my go-to for watch purchases since you could get really good deals on rare jdm watches. [emoji22]

Last purchase I made was end of March on my Longines chronograph. So now that piece will be extra special to me lol

Same sentiment as [mention]AndroidIsAwesome[/mention] here... I managed to snag a nice flock of watches from RGM over the years...
Which resulted into accumulatoin of RGM super points i want to spend now. Any inspiration what to shop for? What do you ussualy buy from japan other than your LE siekos? I have around $250 to spend and it doesnt have to be a watch or watch related item necessarily.

thank you, that baby gs looks so sweet even for a non-seiko guy , although it would be a little over the original budget. but i would definitely consider that over a plain old boring skx

anyways, too late! i already burned 30k yens on bunch of japanese knives and some leathercraft tools for the better half...
now the dreadful wait for initial delivery to RGE and then forwarding to europe, where i will be hit with tax eventho i payed nothing for those goods.

if anyone is interested in some (kitchen) knife intel, lemme know.

i do hope the sweet days of RGM are not over and some occasional deal might pop up from regular rakuten. one never know. good luck hunting!
