Good to hear. If it is a replica do not be surprised if Swatch Group seizes it...

Please keep this thread updated - thanks!
Not only would I be surprised if Swatch or any private company "seized" my property, I'd notify law enforcement that it was stolen from me.
Just my $0.02 USD as always.

For future reference, you can easily identify a Powermatic 80, because it does not have an ETAchron index regulator. Also, if you hack the movement and look at the balance wheel, two of the four spikes have what looks like a screw head on them, these allow you to adjust the inertia of the balance wheel, which is how you adjust the rate of the movement.

This is the Powermatic 80 movement.

This is the ETA 2824-2 movement.

I won the PayPal case because the seller never respond it. I received a partial refund for 220 USD (250 USD total) and I still can keep the watch.

On the other hand, the watch is still on swatch Group Mexico because they are out of service due covid 19 situation.

Swatch Group Mexico says that the watch is a genuine one. It only has a trouble with the power reserve. They gonna fix it. Very strange case because the seller disappeared.

The engravings still seem very off (in traditional fake Arial font), it's still a little peculiar on how they're shown. Maybe you can show us the caseback again when they return it. The bottom engravings "30m/100ft" and etc. do not align the same I've seen on other Lelocle ones (old and new). Not to mention the missing finishing on the movement.

There is a chance they might be replacing it with an authentic one to reduce market presence of fakes... Keep us updated as this is extremely intriguing to me.

Today, Swatch tell me that at the time of fitting the mechanism this is not compatible, so it is a replica of the model.

Yes! What should I do with the watch?
Since it seems to be functional it is not a total loss.

You have a modified functioning watch. Keep and wear.

Sell, full disclosure, to get some more of what you paid back.

Assuming case is authentic, try to find the correct movement, and have it installed,

The watch is a fake, there is nothing authentic about it.

At best it could be described as a franken. If the gen was more buzzworthy you might be able to sell it as such for a few bucks.

I'd just keep it if it was mine.

I don’t think the case is authentic either.
