As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I'd just keep it if it was mine.
I don’t think the case is authentic either.
Yep. Hence my term, "At best." In my opinion, it's a rep.

Why Tissot has been repped to the extent that it has is a mystery to me.
Just my $0.02 USD as always.

Don't know how long this red banner has been up. This may be more widespread than I thought, and it may explain the disappearance of a long time Ebay seller. I still don't know why it would have an ETA 2836 movement.

Apparently, Tissot is a very popular brand in China, so it's one of the rare fakes that is actually produced for the Chinese domestic market. But, unlike most fakes, they're sold as the real deal, and only at a slight discount over the retail price of the authentic article.

Wonder which 2836 movement is in this watch, not going to be ETA. Sea Gull? Cheaper one's available?
