Anyone use the Gemnation “make an offer”?

Post by Elkins45 »

Gemnation has a watch I’m interested in, but only at around half of what they have it listed for. It’s $2200 and since it’s an older discontinued model I figure the real market value is probably only about $1200 at most. Has anyone ever gotten a 50% offer accepted by Gemnation?

I tried using the Make an Offer back when they had the Mondaine Gottardo Stop2Go for $350.
I offered $250 and they countered with $299.
I didn't respond and they eventually came back with $259, but that's when they dropped the price to $249.

I gave up at that point and later ended up getting it through ebay with one of their 15% discounts.

Well, it turns out it wasn’t in stock when I asked. So it’s a moo point. Moo, like a cow’s opinion. It’s moo.
