Thanks. It's appreciated.yinzburgher wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 10:01 pmNot sure but that would be good to know bc that seller usually has competitive prices and they have good feedback. They ship from Voorhees, NJ and have a Bonanza seller account as well. I just sent them a message through Bonanza. I'll let you know if I hear back.

As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

They messaged me back. It sounds like they aren't associated with any other sites or companies.Rocat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2019 8:46 amThanks. Anyone know if this seller has a stand alone website: america-first? https://ebay.com/usr/america-first
They have a couple of watches at good prices but with tax it sorta kills the good deal.

They do. They are a Singapore-based seller and they have a whole mess of ebay accounts. They also sell on other platforms such as Amazon, Rakuten, Lazada, etc. The direct website is watcheszon. That used to be the name of their ebay account as well but it appears they now primarily use a few other accounts. I've linked some of them below. Many of their reviews aren't great but it appears you can pay with PayPal if it's any consolation.Boourns wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:15 pm Anyone know if this seller has a stand alone website: america-first? https://ebay.com/usr/america-first

^ Thank you sir. I found a couple of their other ebay accounts based on the similarity in naming convention and same products offered for the same price.

Ashford/DWS/watchgooroo no longer sells under the Ashford name on Amazon. It appears that at some point they opened a new Amazon storefront called Clock Wise. There is less inventory on the Amazon store but the inventory they do have definitely matches up with that of Ashford......right down to the rain boots. I added it to the list.

After looking at the inventory for watchgrabber on ebay, I realized that it matches up with that of Jacob Time. The prices also match up. That includes more obscure watches like the Mulco Blue Marine or the Jivago Ultimate. And even non-watch items like this "Genuine Fresh Water Pearls Earring Necklace Set - Cherry - PS308-CHR" pictured below which sell for $20.34 on both sites. I've added this to the list.

My reaction when I saw a couple of these retailers that are the same:

Just received 2 email messages--one from Ashford and the other from UPS--telling me that my purchase should arrive tomorrow. Both have the same tracking number. The UPS email lists the sender as CWS. So, Sherlock that I am, I deduce that Ashford=CWS.

CWS = Certified or CW Sellors? The Sultan of SoWhat wrote: ↑Tue Jun 01, 2021 3:44 pm Just received 2 email messages--one from Ashford and the other from UPS--telling me that my purchase should arrive tomorrow. The email just said CWS. I assumed Certified.
Re: Same Retailer, Different Name - Companies with Multiple Websites
NOT claiming these are the same retailers.
But I did find it odd that these three were using the exact same pics in their listings for the Louis Erard regulator I posted on the deals thread.
More than just the main render pic, but they're all using the exact same actual product photos.
Weird.
Wonder if they're just posting and someone else is fulfilling the sales for them?

I thought maybe they could be manufacturer photos, but they aren't on the LE product page: https://www.louiserard.com/creations/ex ... 54230ag59/TheJohnP wrote: ↑Fri Sep 10, 2021 1:56 pm NOT claiming these are the same retailers.

They look like pics that Gemnation will sometimes use (background, positions, etc). Just surprised to see both Ashford and Joma also posting them too.
