As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Ratio Freediver with Barton Strap

Post by philippainter »

Based upon the recommendation of an MOT member, I ordered and just received this Ratio Freediver, shipped via DHL from Singapore. I love it! Very light on the wrist, unusually thin at 10mm, with great lume, a sapphire crystal and an elegant design. No, I'm not a diver. I'm a watch lover, and, as a painter I really appreciate the aesthetics of the watches I'm attracted to and sometimes purchase.
I think this one works especially well with the Barton strap I chose. Your thoughts?

Thanks for posting!

Every time I see that watch, I want to get one, but I have resisted. It really does look great, and who can argue against an ultra-reliable quartz diver?

Looks great! Wear it in good health.

I didn’t realize that watch was so thin. Makes me suddenly want one.

Also lovingly known as the Bolster Special!

Here's his previous review of the watch.

Looks great on the Barton elite. This has become a favorite watch of mine for travel: good looking, reliable, thin, and inexpensive enough that you don't worry about it. Due to the case shape it also works well on a Eulit 2-piece Perlon strap. :)
