Not sure which watch yet, but the strap is a perfect match!!(phone camera doesn't capture it though[emoji22])

Big fan of Rios bands...great quality and they feel substantial. I like the contrasting stitch with the Omega...very nice.

As you approach "the day" you will undoubtedly receive a lot of advice. One thing I can say is that for her it will be a wonderful and also crazy and somewhat stressful day. I sensed this with my bride and it was important for me to connect with her while she was getting ready to help calm her nerves and make it the best day for her... even though we couldn't see each other before the procession. With my wife I sent one of the flower children to her dressing room with a present which was a small box filled with little notes telling her all the reasons I love her. Now 12 years later it is still her favorite memory from the day.

My advice: Don't miss the opportunity to do something special on the day for the future Mrs Rubb. She won't notice your watch, but she will definitely appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Dude. This may be the best advice I have gotten. Seriously, that was a great move!!! While I am not gonna copy the idea exactly, you have got the wheels turning in my head. What a great idea!!

So thanks to CVP33 I'd like to get a strap for my blue Alpinist that's tan/honey/cognac with blue contrast stitching (20mm). This one looks great, but I ain't going to drop $100 on a strap. Anyone run across alternatives?

I don't know them, but maybe reach out to ReedyRiverGoods on Etsy?

https://www.etsy.com/shop/ReedyRiverGoods

They mentioned a new Horween leather color that seems to be close to what you're looking for.
And they mention you can request a different stitching color.
And this example is about $33.

What does Nero charge for straps?
They look fantastic, but they also look like they're probably out of the budget request of Boourns

John is based in Spain and does incredible custom work. I have 6 of his straps and he's never failed to impress from a quality and value perspective. He could make that Seiko pop!

Another company to check out is SteveoStraps. He makes tons of unique straps for good prices. I am thinking of ordering some from him, although he posted on Instagram that he had a heart attack last week so perhaps I will hold off on ordering for a bit.

Very comfortable and supple.

They are around $100 when sold separately, hence my price question.

Hello everyone. Thank you for exposing this with us, I find it important! And you're right. However, a detail trots me a little, I would like to expose it if it is possible. Thank you for your return.  Good luck to all.

I've pretty much given up on this watch but it was a gift from someone that will know if I unload it, so I'm trying to make it work. My wrist is close to 7". The Hamilton Regulator is 42mm, 22mm lug, 15mm thick. Not sure about lug to lug but it's >50mm. I have a few 42 mm watches that look good on my wrist, e.g., Eterna Granges and Ball Mad Cow, but those are fairly curved whereas this Hammy sits pretty flat. For 42mm, the Hamilton wears significant larger. Looks OK in the stock photo nut looks like **** on my wrist.

I've tried various various brown and black leather bands. I even tried a two-toned stainless band, and I hate those. Right now I think it looks best on a black leather NATO but that's not good enough.
