Starting this thread for members to share online resources for the vintage collector, excluding purchase sites (saving those for another thread). All resources related to determining watch history, researching potential purchases, movement identification, dating, finding repair parts, etc. Below are the ones I have found most useful (visible only to members). Please feel free to share your own.
MoT's Watch Deal Forum is the resource for watch and watch accessory deals sourced by enthusiasts like you. Click here to join today, and once logged in you'll be able to take part in great discussion and camaraderie about the hobby you love.
As a reminder, even though MoT's is a free site, we do rely on two methods lights on. One is a referral generator that creates (mostly) unobtrusive links. This depends on the site being whitelisted in any ad-blocking software you use. If you could please whitelist this site, we would be ever thankful. (We promise there are no pop-ups, pop-unders or other annoying distractions.)
The other method is donations from members and visitors. These are completely voluntary and there is no obligation. Any donations go directly towards site operations and are greatly appreciated. Click here to donate today.
Thank you!

Re: Websites and Online Tools for Vintage Collectors
Great idea and thanks for putting this all in one place! I'm not really a vintage collector but part of the reason is that I'm too intimidated. Some of the resources here could definitely help. I sometimes think about picking up a vintage King Seiko but then I usually remind myself that I know nothing about them so I'll likely pay too much and get a poor example. I found a guide from Fratello Magazine that could maybe help me or others. I know your not exactly a Seiko fan FTE, but it's ok, we love you anyway.
