As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Time to move on

Post by AstroLaw »

Hello all, and thanks for looking!

Up for sale are a number of watches from my modest collection. Most of these were purchased while I was still trying to decide what I liked. Prices include shipping and fees and will be shipped within CONUS using USPS priority mail. Paypal preferred, and reasonable offers will be considered. FULL DISCLOSURE: I have not sold any watches, but have made purchases on WUS and ebay with favorable feedback, if interested message me for profile names. MODS: if this post violates any rules I will modify or delete as needed. Albums include timestamps.

Now on to the collection.

Bobo Bird - Price $25

Bulova Precisionist - Price: $125
Album: https://imgur.com/gallery/9JVpwSx
Purchased pre-owned from ebay. Includes outer/inner box, manual, links. Item is indicated as factory refurbished, but runs very well. It includes the buttery smooth seconds sweep. I like this watch, but don't have many occasions to wear it. It was a small scratch on the crystal, and I tried to include that in the album.

Spinnaker Fleuss - SOLD
Album: https://imgur.com/gallery/JAN9AdS
Spinnaker website: https://www.spinnaker-watches.com/colle ... sp-5055-01
Purchased new from Spinnaker. I still like this watch, but I purchased another that has a similar look and want to clear some room in the watch box. Includes original spinnaker box.

Condition: Excellent
Movement: NH35 Automatic Movement with 3 Hands and Date
Crystal: Sapphire
Case: Stainless Steel
Dimensions: 43 mm diameter, 12 mm height, 22 mm lug
Caseback: Screw-in, exhibition
Crown: screw-down
Dial: black
Strap/bracelet: Leather with Spinnaker clasp
WR: 150 meters

Hamilton Khaki King Scuba (H645150) Hard to Find - Price: $375
Album: https://imgur.com/gallery/3CY6tYv
Watch was purchased pre-owned from ebay. This was an early grail, and one that I still like, but I haven't been wearing it as much. It is the rarer version with a red-tipped seconds hand and red second markers from 45 to 00, with a day and date complication. I do not have a box or papers, and the strap is an aftermarket mesh with some desk-diving marks. The bezel has a few scratches that I tried to capture in the photos. If this one didn't sell I wouldn't be terribly upset, but I wanted to test the interest anyway.

Condition: Good
Movement: Swiss ETA 2834-2 automatic
Crystal: Sapphire
Case: 316L stainless steel
Dimensions: 41.5 mm diameter, 13.7 height, 20 mm lug
Caseback: Screw-in, exhibition
Crown: Screw-down
Dial: Black dial
Strap/bracelet: Stainless steel mesh
WR: 100 meters

Had it listed at 180, but came in a little less. Keep looking though. They turn up about once a month I feel like.
