Forteller Watches out of Norway have launched their first Kickstarter for their debut model, the Cambrian 300m automatic dive watch.


Kickstarter pricing is around $205
Regular price will be $249

Estimated delivery is April 2021

The Cambrian period lasted from 540-485 million years ago and is known as the biggest life explosion in earth's history. We decided that nothing would be more fitting as the life explosion to our company as our staff is very interested in geology and paleontology.

Every watch comes with a deeply embossed and fine polished Trilobite on the back. The Trilobite is a well known species from the Cambrian period. The specific genus of Trilobite visible on the back of our watch is the Paradoxides from about 514 - 497 million years ago.

Regardless, this seems like a lot of watch for $205. Particularly the full-lume dial version.

The watches shown are prototypes, so the production models will have a black date wheel for the Black, Blue, and Green colorways.

There is a lot I like about this one; the 6:00 date, the colors, and the packaging.

I fear their funding goal is a bit ambitious, however.

Thank you all for your support on the project, getting over 50% with such a high goal is very impressive and we hope that you all continue to support us till the end.

The project will most likely not succeed this time, but because of our incredible supporters and all their kind words and enthusiasm for the Cambrian we have decided to relaunch again in a few months after improving our advertising and getting more coverage on social media.
