Merkur Watch Group out of Beijing, China have launched their first ever Kickstarter campaign for their Pierre Paulin brand's double tourbillion collection. I'm sorry...rather the "Certified Millionaire Luxury" double tourbillion collection.

There's been double tourbillons on Aliexpress for some time. Does Merkur make any movements?... not that I'm aware of.

Merkur is part of Beijing Time Infinite Technologies, which also owns the trademark for Sea-Gull, so I'm sure they've got direct access to movements.

I love the name of this watch.....it makes me laugh every time I see it. I guess it's the "Certified" part that kills me.

It's interesting that the guy in the comments on Kickstarter keeps pointing out that the watch is already for sale on Chrono24. And Merkur just keeps saying they're not genuine. Yet there is no way to know that it's not actually Merkur that is selling those examples on Chrono24. It certainly could be.
