Was going through the list of recently launched watch Kickstarters and saw one that hyped a watch with an "appraised value $495" for $95.
That seemed a little odd.
Then I see it is a Miyota powered auto with sapphire

Now something seems up.
Probably a private label catalog piece, but that's fine.
Then trying to find actual specs (sizing, etc), I run across this in their Updates:

And for the record, this is the first I've heard about Kickbooster and have never posted any affiliate links in relation to any of the crowd funded watches I've posted.
As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Re: *Warning* Kickstarter promoting affiliate commissions
Thanks for the head's up. I experienced one of these earlier today and was quite surprised.

Thanks for sifting through all these crowdfunding listings, TheJohnP. There is certainly a lot of crap out there *coughpompeakcough*.
I wish that watch were 38mm?
