SUCCESSFUL: Kickstarter: Anicorn Watches - Redundant Watch (The Trio of Time #2.5)

Post by TheJohnP »

First off, this is a bit of a fashion watch, but it has a fun take on the typical indices. So sharing in case anyone else agrees.

Anicorn Watches out of Hong Kong has launched their latest Kickstarter for the next installment in their "The Trio of Time" collection, the Redudant Watch designed by Ji Lee.
FYI, Anicorn's previous four Kickstarter campaigns have all been successful.

Super Early Bird pricing is $128
Regular price will be $280

Estimated delivery is November 2019

The Trio of Time (TTT) is a collaboration where Anicorn visits different cities around the globe to partner with local designers and explore their perception of time. The first two city watches were Seoul and New York. But before moving to their next global destination, Anicorn proudly presents a second New York City project—TTT #2.5, the Redundant Watch by Ji Lee.

Ji Lee is a New York based designer born in Korea and raised in Brazil. Named as one of the 50 most important designers in America by the Fast Company, Ji’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Time Magazine, Wired, BBC, The Guardian among others.

Ji made a sample Redundant Clock, photographed it and put it on his portfolio website, this triggered massive emails inquiring where they can buy Redundant Clock. Overwhelmed by the feedback, Ji Lee launched Redundant Clock in 2017, and in addition to hanging on the wall, Anicorn has partnered to make the design into the Redundant Watch.

The watch will come in three colorways - silver, black, and white dials.

Specs:

* The 40mm case is designed for both men and women.
* Redundant runs on a Miyota GL20 Japanese Movement.
* The watch has a 316L stainless-steel enclosed casing, available in black or silver.
* The casing is ultra thin — only 7.5mm.
* All straps are interchangeable with TTT series — Hidden Time Watch / Order — thanks to the smart docking system.

Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find
