Well, if it were in my price range I would jump on it only because I am really interested in motorsports. Aesthetically it's a bit of an acquired taste but I think it is awesome, especially some of their skeletonized versions.

I just placed my order for the red bezel version.

It's amazing, isn't it, how one can start one's day with absolutely no idea, inkling or intention of buying anything at all (let alone yet another watch), and then, boom, one or two MOT postings later, there it is, the deed done, and a few hundred dollars fewer to one's name.

I'm sure everyone on this forum can relate, and yet, I still find it remarkable.

I’ve wanted one of these more reasonably sized Citizen mechanical divers for a while so I decided to pick up the black bezeled one! I almost got the red bezel for something different, but wasn’t confident enough that I’d love it.

I put a question mark next to the bracelet description because I'm not sure about it. When I think of a combi bracelet, I think of this one at PacParts. The one above looks a little different to me.

UPDATE: I found this review on WUS, and the reviewer says they are all plastic links. Lots of photos. I'll update my OP. Sorry for any confusion :-/

UPDATE 2: Here is Casio's description of the bracelet: "The GW-5600BC models feature a new type of band structure. The outer segments are made of fine resin embedded with metal parts, while the center segments are made of fine resin. The result is a band that is both light-weight and durable, with a glossy finish that looks great as well. A three-fold type band buckle makes fastening and unfastening quick and simple."
