Once again, this Certina DS2 Precidrive Chrono is on sale at Ashford. Currently going for $258 with no code required. I purchased this very watch several months ago and am extremely satisfied with the quality. The coolest thing about it (in addition to the very precise/accurate movement) is the large green 1/100 second sweeping central hand. Agreed. You were the D.R. btw. I bought my SKX013 from them for $149. I didn't expect to like the smaller format but did. I immediately bought 2 more to mod as well as the SKX007 and SKX009. Nothing too crazy, just a Bezel and insert for the 7,9. The 13 I'm going all in - dial, bezel, hands, crystal, insert and bracelet. Hopefully I don't futz it up too badly.

The $149 deal on the 013 is gone, isn’t it? I think I checked the 2018 thread and Creation had these on sale at a lower price plus the discount and that got them to $149.
Prob should have tried one.

Yeah, they're more like $170 now. I'd call them worth it. Surprising little watch.

Nice find and nice deal. I checked ebay earlier. I'm not sure how I missed it. I'm convinced that Gemnation and Sigmatime are the same seller. I can't find any proof but others have speculated as much online. I've noticed that not only do they typically have nearly identical inventory but the same pieces get discounted around the same time.

I got this in silver. It is a very nicely made piece. Great value for the price. I am not sure about the bracelet yet. Note the diagonals on the polished center links. It is different, not sure if I like it or not. Perhaps it will grow on me. Regardless, this will look very good on many straps. I think I will put it on black leather.

I cannot recommend this watch enough... it’s one of my favorites and gets a ton of wrist time.

Perfect size, screw-down buttons for the chronograph, 200m water resistance, and I love the busy dial (baby Navitimer anyone?).

Well worth the price.

I agree, great watch at a great price but I'm an old pilot and a geek. Have it and love it. Love the contrasting yellow. That said I moved to the SSC009 as my 'go to' travel watch. Slightly less busy dial for my old eyes but still a functional slide rule and solar powered. I use it for alarm, 2nd time zone, currency conversion, US to metric conversion etc. Only 100 m (which is more than enough for me) no screw down pushers
