Just noticed the two new higher end Pro Treks are also on Amazon's deal of the day. These have solar and MB6, but don't look like they have the step tracker/bluetooth that the cheaper ones I posted yesterday have. The black one has run $400 (PRW-50Y-1ACR) and is $230 today, and the stainless steel w/bracelet has been $508 and is now $275 (PRW-50T-7ACR).

Both still too rich for my blood. But on a positive, they've got 22mm straps so you can switch stuff up it looks like if you're into that.

Nice looking Edifice again on sale, this time for $60. Normally $95. This is one of the more normal sized Edifice's at 42.5 mm, and under 8mm thin. Sapphire to boot. EFR-S107D-1AVCR:

Thanks for finding this...was looking for something the GF wouldn't really mangle when she walks the dogs.

The last watch with a mineral crystal I gave her got completely wrecked to the point you can barely see the hands/numbers!

Let us know how it goes. I'm tempted. I watched a youtube video that seems pretty positive, especially for $60. Folded links on the bracelet and just OK lume seem to be the knocks, but I'd probably not use the bracelet most of the time anyway.

I'm going to yank the bracelet off and put either a zulu or rubber strap on it since it's going to be a "beater" for her with the dogs.

Lume not an issue since she'll be wearing it during the day at the dog parks, etc.

AFAIK from one of those annoying and weird 'unboxing' vids the Bulova Hack does not sweep, just that brutal lock-step quartz bludgeoning of the seconds?

Time may be a cruel mistress but quartz is nastier . . .

Received my 96A219 today the watch was 100% new, not a mark on the watch!

Perfect size for my 7" wrist, now I want to see if the Precisionist or Accutron ii movements will fit or some type of mechanical movement and the watch would be perfect.

Building on the PRW50 deal is a better price from JCPenny for the PRT-B50 It is battery powered with a CR2025 (2 year life) for $136 Heck of a lot of features for the price. No it isn't solar, but to be honest that's not a deal breaker. I was going to buy this but I'd just be buying the deal. Besides I sold off my Pro Treks realizing I don't use the ABC features anyway. A lot of customization with the Pro Trek App. And, ding, ding, ding! This one has Alti lock. You can rearrange the order of the functions as you see fit and can customize what shows up on the lcd. (I think. At least that's what I've read.)
