As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I really want to pick up the strap you show, but the only watch I have that strap would possibly compliment is my SARB065, which IMO calls for something a little more refined than canvas.
In this place, we call that an opportunity. So, order the blue one, then shop for a watch to match it!

That's a negatory, Ghostrider, and a B-line to the dark side. :D

For Ever and a Day, I held to my ethos (as originally expressed ten years ago on WUS) of a "1 in, 1 out" velvet rope policy for my watch box... which changed the first (and last) time I used a band/strap purchase to justify a watch purchase. That upset the balance of the force and the next thing I knew, my 10-watch box was replaced by a 20-watch box, which, of course, was filled to capacity within six months.

That, of course, left me with a now-empty 10-watch box, which is now full as well. And it all started with one strap I had to have. It's a slippery slope, my friend.

tl;dr: Still looking for the right 12-step program out there to assist me with such "opportunities." :)

I'm not trying to intentionally lead anyone back over to the dark side, but check out the WPAC thread over at the place that shall not be named in the Affordables forum. You will find some help over there. I know some members here frequent that thread. I'm just a lurker...to my own detriment.

Really good price on a great watch. I picked up the Fireman Enterprise last year from CWS and these two are both essentially the same watch (sans the cyclops, 3pm vs. 4pm date window and I don’t believe the Glory includes the extra NATO).

I am likely suffering from at least a little confirmation bias as a Fireman owner myself, but it is a legitimate GADA watch IMO.

Ball is one of those watches (like Oris) that truly punches above its weight class, and this watch can and will carry its own alongside an AT, DJ, et al. I've worn my Nightbreaker in boardroom meetings and when meeting with C-suite clientele over drinks, and would be equally comfortable taking it in the ocean. It looks phenomenal on a range of straps, and that OEM bracelet is tops.

Given the current price of the SARB033, the Ball is a no-brainer at this price IMO.

Oh, and tritium. 8-)

This Oris looks like a bargain. I don't follow the model closely, so maybe wrong.

I recently discovered this brand Sartory Billard and I just saw they have a code for one of their models that offers interchangable bezels.
"Special deal for Christmas : -20% with coupon : sb02noel2019"

Awesome deals, but I'm working on reducing my inventory. The 5-Day movements are a steal.

Also, don't miss the Bader deployment straps.

The C3 Grand Tourer has a real Tiffany C60 Chronograph vibe to it.

Missed out on that red/white Trident but snagged the blue/white grand tourer. Have had my eye on that watch for a little while.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Re CW sale - checking out in GBP still saves you a couple of bucks versus dollars if your CC doesn’t charge you an exchange rate fee.

Got to Paypal checkout for a 65 which I been admiring for a while, but stalled. I couple of pieces I'd like to offload first. Not enough coin left in the watch fund and my wife would absolutely DESTROY me.

I shall live vicariously through you guys, so let us know what you snag.
