Risky deal. I seem to recall this seller from long ago. At the time there was a hot deal posted here on a Seiko, and a number of eBay sellers had the same deal -- this seller was one of them (these sellers all had hyphenated names). But (many? all?) orders were later canceled. I figured that these eBay sellers were all affiliates to the same Singaporean dropshipper and that they couldn't update their eBay inventory fast enough to prevent the excess orders. But I don't know. IIRC, nobody was burned, just disappointed.

Sorry to resurrect the **** talk but I was curious about these watches based on the discussion of their age. I emailed Gemination and they told me they are new watches made in late 2019.

I would genuinely doubt that as Ball Watch Co. has not made quartz watches since Jeff Hess has been president, predating early/mid 2000's.

From what I've read, there is no longer a US distribution for Ball Watches. I believe there was some internal turmoil and read somewhere (Rolex forums?) that he is no longer in the position... because it doesn't exist. He also stated that there was issues with QC in recent years (you can actually find a lot of these testimonials).

Anyway, Ball has not released a quartz watch since ~2005 as they announce all releases in public and take preorders. If these models were directly from Ball to Gemnation, they're likely NOS and I doubt they would've replaced the tubes.

Fyi for those doing this, they started this promo last month and I bought a watch during it. I never ended up getting the extra bonus points though and I'm still emailing them back and forth about it but it seems to basically exclude anything not shipped using Rakuten global express. I bought from this seller for a Seiko monster on their "Australian" store front back in 2018. Never received anything after the order and the store seemingly vanished from eBay. eBay quickly refunded me though so maybe it was just a one off. I'd probably risk it again if they shipped here since eBay buyers protection is great

I went ahead and emailed Ball to ask about a couple of the reference numbers for the Inspectors, since there are dials with date windows at 3 and other at 4:30ish. Which led me to believe those were made at various times.

These models were produced in 2008, only for a short period, hence the lack of information.
