A) A thick one, lol (16.7mm)!!! In all seriousness, based on the bi-compax layout and description indicating 27 jewel Swiss movement, my best guess would be a modified ETA 7753 (with the 12 hour subdial normally at the 6pm position removed).

I would have bit with sapphire. Great looker though. Would make a nice brother to my Seiko Solar adventure. 200 is a lot to spend on a watch (for me) without sapphire since I got this guy for 90 which set the precedent early on.

Just helping out with a real life photo. I had this for about three days several years ago. It made me realize I'm not a chrono guy. The dial was too busy for my taste.
