If you like this this might do at half the price. I bought two black dials for builds but I'm going to keep one as is and wear it, the blue dial I bought was used for a build.pgcity wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 8:15 am Eterna 2948.41.41.0277 Men's Tangaroa Automatic Watch still available at the lowest price found in March this year @ USD 292.90 by @AceRimmer and @TheJohnP. Then they added 4 more the next day, now it shows as 1 available but maybe there'll be more added when the last one sells out. Kinda ironic too i think considering ETernA couldn't use ETA movement in it.

the fine satin brushing/polished bits on the case and bracelet is what tipped me over. Considering the picture above looks a bit overexposed, found a picture of the chronograph variant and if it looks as good as the picture below,i'll be very happy for sure.

Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! 2020
Here’s a quick photo of the bracelet from the moonphase chrono — I don’t wear too many bracelets (but always order them for resale purposes), and this one *feels* as solid and well-made as any I’ve ever experienced. Note that it does use screws.pgcity wrote:Eterna 2948.41.41.0277 Men's Tangaroa Automatic Watch still available at the lowest price found in March this year @ USD 292.90 by AceRimmer and TheJohnP. If I didn’t already have a couple of watches that fill the role of the Tangaroa 3-hand, I’d order it.

NAD... The Ball Marvelight jumped to the top of my grail list about a month ago. A few youtube reviews and it became a must have. I'm retiring in Sept so this is my retirement gift to me! Well, at least one of them!
Thanks TheJohnP, it is on the way!

pgcity I bought that for myself a while back. Very nice for the money. Solid build, screw down crown, and sapphire. It wears really good on me.pgcity wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 9:15 am Another 2 Eterna's for me. ETERNA 1270.41.12.1378 Women's KonTiki Silver Quartz Watch for USD158.86. Retail listed at USD 800 when checked elsewhere. The caseback reference number shown(127000444888) is for a different Kontiki however. This is a 36mm quartz .I think it will be fine on men's and women's wrist despite being marketed as women's watch. The strap is described as black rubber imitation alligator strap. Didn't know such a strap exists. Guess will find out when arrives. 2 watches remaining.

Re: Heads Up! I Saw A Bargain Here! 2020
NAD, yes was eyeing the CK for a long time but never enough to pull the trigger. However the Tangaroa with its expensive looking case/bracelet won me over. I've discovered that for me, I want the watch I want and sometimes an alternative works and at other times it will not satisfy.tjcdas wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 10:25 amIf you like this this might do at half the price. NAD, thanks for the picture. It looks great and expensive with the perlage work etc.cheddar wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 10:58 amHere’s a quick photo of the bracelet from the moonphase chrono — I don’t wear too many bracelets (but always order them for resale purposes), and this one *feels* as solid and well-made as any I’ve ever experienced. Well I wouldn't have even thought about buying that watch. But then I saw your picture and promptly ordered it [emoji1751]k.crabbe wrote:whoagorgeous Only one I have right now.
Looks much better in person than the stock pictures. I can't figure out the lug width though so hopefully it's 18mm or 20mm.
