1961 have peen produced, and they are in store since Nov 1.
Well, actually flying out of any store and massively getting flipped on eBay and Chrono24.
Retail is USD 1250, or 1150 EUR.
Want to pay USD 1500 max, or better, up to EUR 1500 from a European address.
Mido didn’t handle this launch well. By all accounts, all of the inventory was sold through pre-sale before the official launch even happened. And Mido still kicked off their marketing launch posts on IG (and presumably other channels) as if you could walk in to your local AD and buy one. Not a great customer experience.
On the bright side, I had this exchange with them that seems to indicate there *could* be a non-LE version coming at some point.
Thanks for the quick reply. I probably should have included in my post that the best price I can find so far is watches.com for $876
Part of the problem for me is that I remember when we could frequently get automatic zodiacs for around or under $600. I've had a couple for closer to $500

I actually tried that as well however I'm guessing you found it the same way I did via Google and the link won't let you add it to cart. I tried chat and they told me to call. When I called they said they can't find the watch in their system.
Thank you for trying though [emoji106]

Relying on historical pricing is an easy trap to fall in.
But unfortunately it doesn't have an impact on current values.
We've all been there though.

True but man does it sting, lol
I ended up ordering one from watches.com however after doing more research I remembered the other big reason that kept me from buying this in the past: So many complaints of movement failure with several months of waiting for repairs and then getting the watch back with the same issues and or in worse shape. I'll make sure to check it thoroughly for a while before I take the plastic etc off.
Thanks everyone for the assistance.
