Re: Help me find a bargain thread
Thanks for All the great suggestions guys! I really thought the Vaer was gonna be a hit, but she didn't like it. Lucky for me(and my wallet), the Black cased Bertucci is in the lead right now.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
So I have a targeted 20% at ToM that expires tomorrow (Sunday). Anyone seen something good? I prefer something flippable because wife won't be happy, but if there's something good enough I'll seek forgiveness rather than permission.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

This: https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/ete ... 41-56-1352
Or this: https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/bla ... re-display
Also a number of Maurice Lacroix at 80% off...seem to be highly flippable.

Here is a 34mm Timex used on Etsy for $29 + S&H.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
Another possibility, though 40mm. Some sources say this is 34mm. But this source says the strap is 20mm, which (judging by the photo's proportions) would make it 40mm. $50 at CWS before any coupons. Model: Victorinox 26073.CB.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
I haven't bought a watch in months but I really have the urge to buy something now. I saw the geckota w-01 released a few days ago and I actually really like the looks of it. I'm so close to ordering one but figure I'd ask here for ideas on other stuff around that price. For a couple years now I've been wanting a nice gloss white dial watch with blue hands, 40mm or less case, something in the style of a marine chronometer or deck watch (ie stowa marine small seconds). Kinda like something you'd wear on a really nice yacht with a polo shirt and some leather boat shoes if you catch my drift

If you don't mind waiting a few months for delivery, perhaps the Perpetual Watches SC-03?AndroidIsAwesome wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:15 pm I haven't bought a watch in months but I really have the urge to buy something now. You can preorder now for $200 with delivery in August.

Video review from Watch It All About makes it look gorgeous.
The Perpetual site lists the case at 41mm, but WIAA says it's 40mm.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
Funny enough I stumbled upon their website last night. They look nice I just wasn't sure about the quality, the bezel size and the lugs style. Definitely looks great for the price, now I'm conflicted lolTheJohnP wrote:If you don't mind waiting a few months for delivery, perhaps the Perpetual Watches SC-03?AndroidIsAwesome wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:15 pm I haven't bought a watch in months but I really have the urge to buy something now. Re: Help me find a bargain thread
I have been eyeing this watch for a while, Hamilton Khaki Field (H64455523) and was curious if it might be one sale this weekend or if anyone knew where to find the best price?

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
I would email River Edge Jewelers at https://shop.riveredgejewelers.com/pages/contact-info. Tell them what you’re interested in and how much you’re looking to spend and they’ll try and work with you. When I was looking for H70455533 I did the same and ended up getting it for $325, a great price from an AD.

On the fence regarding the Bulova Lunar Pilot. What's the best price to hold out for one. I know they are going around $285 on Amazon for the date version right now. Thanks.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
Just reading your description, I IMMEDIATELY thought of the Portsea. Such a gorgeous looking watch, although I haven't seen one in person.AndroidIsAwesome wrote:I haven't bought a watch in months but I really have the urge to buy something now.
