Hi, gang,
Hoping someone knows the answer to this question off the top of their head.
I've had a dive watch serviced, during which it was pressure tested to 3atm (the max the Seiko service centre could do, apparently - absurd but there we are!).
Now, I know stated WR on watches doesn't necessarily correlate to actual permissible depth, but what about pressure tests? I.e. if it is pressure tested to 3atm / 30m, is it pretty much ok to use in water up to thay depth? (As opposed to a 3atm-rated watch, which I wouldn't take near a sink.)
I don't plan to dive with the watch, but would like to use it when swimming. It's also not particularly expensive, so not the end of the world if it floods....

As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
