Check your calendar, you're a month early. :P
Oh my god...it HAS been one of those weeks. Lol. I guess I will have to wait a few more days to close the deals so they are in Feb.
That’s what I get for not paying attention. Just put in an offer for a quirky watch. Hopefully I can retract the offer or it gets declined.
Or, just delay payment to the first. I think as long as the transaction is done in Feb you are fine...plus, I don’t think we are too rigid here - all in good fun.

I was doing some pre-game searching and then reread the rules and forgot about the used stipulation.

That won't affect things too much, but that does factor into the search parameters...sorry AliExpress.

Is it one watch per person, or watches if total spent doesn't exceed the cost barrier?

Or can we enter in multiple $29 watches?

Knock yourself out. If you spend less than the maximum amount, and can get multiple watches, why not? Good luck.
I know from above that multiple watches adding up to $29 as a single entry is ok, but not sure whether multiple entries are ok. Would think it would complicate voting....and split the vote.

I vote for one entry per person unless we want to have 2 categories.
1. Single watch up to $29
2. Multiple watches adding up to $29

A watch from category 2 could be entered into category 1 or you could have separate purchases for each category.

Category 2 is optional.

Maybe that is complicating things.

I suppose you could make a fake account and join the challenge, but that seems against the spirit of the place.

I'd prefer single entry of one watch too but I was trying not to be too strict about it.

If anyone enters more than one watch it'll be as single entry. Getting multiple quirky/interesting watches that work for that amount of money would be a feat in itself.

I think single entry with 1 or many watches not exceeding total €/$ 29 is simplest. Each entrant may have only one entry / post for consideration, and it can include $29 worth of watches.

That is clear and straightforward.

How will voting be done? We have a deadline for entry (Feb 1)...should we make a poll once everyone has posed their entries to count votes?

Can you lock the poll to only entrants or will it be we each post our favorite?

Good point...only entrants get to vote, and a poll would be open to all.
