As a curtesy to your fellow challenge entrants, please refrain from posting pictures of your entries here, or on any other MoT thread until after the shopping period has closed. Sharing photos by DM and through other channels is fine.

The above statement has been added to the rules post.

Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

Shoulda went for $36. Rules say up to $1 over the $35 max is ok. ;)

That is correct. Anything that I was really interested in I put a bid of 35.52, though $36 is probably better.

What!!!!!!
Now I'm extra sad lol. I should have noticed that. Oh well, it's far from the only cheap field watch out there.

Well, you will probably end up finding something better. Lots of time left to shop and now some of the ‘sharks’ have settled on their entries. It is really more about finding things though. The right watch will come along.

OK, some watches are arriving. Once you have your entry in hand, please send me a DM to let me know. This will act as your challenge confirmation. So far I have MoT and Watchpalooza.

Yeah, I may have actually found my entry already. Even if it doesn't quite qualify it's one that I personally wanted to own, which I was doubtful I'd find for a challenge so win for me!

I have gotten so hooked on this challenge -- the espresso helps. It is so interesting to focus on a segment of watches like this. No surprise that I found a watch and put in an offer. I should re-read the rules, but (I hope) I'm in. Thanks for putting this together!

Good to have you aboard BC. I see the challenges as giving us a fun way to expand our watch knowledge while honing our bargain hunting skills with a low level of financial risk. As we are all doing this at the same time it also build community and allows us to share individual experiences from which we can all learn.

I know that I have learned a whole lot about field watches than I had before. All the field watches that I currently have are A-17 type and I had no idea. My entry will be a different type for sure.

That brings us to 16 interested participants. Super excited to see interest in challenges grow.

I do think the amount allowed should be the same regardless of currency ($35, €35, etc...). Otherwise you are enforcing some type of exchange rate.
