Better than nothing.

I'm waiting on payment for a set of 5 small coffee cups. Purchased for 69 cents each. Sold for $70.
That's crazy. And I can't believe what people pay for coffee mugs that you can find at a yard sale for 50 cents. It doesn't make sense to me.

Plush toys are even better on average. You can turn $1-2 into $20-30 all day!

This one even sold though eBay Global Shipping.

My parents (antique dealers) were fond of the phrase “Five will get you Twenty” to describe a quick and easy 4 fold flip with a $5 investment. It seems lithe stuffed animals beat that by a wide margin.

Stopped at TJ Maxx tonight and found $500 hanging on the racks. They really should be more careful.

Not really. Sometimes they get better inventory between now and Christmas though.

Would you buy this GN1000GB-1A for $100? I waited until it hit clearance. Don't really want the color, so would flip it. Some of the listings for used ones plus sales tax on my purchase make me think it might not be worth my time:

Ebay search shows some higher prices, but not a lot of solds in this colorway.

TJ Maxx down the road from this one also had gold Mudmasters and GA-1000's similarly priced, but sold when they hit clearance.

I would pass. There is a $145 OBO on eBay. You also have to be sure TJ Maxx has the correct boxes and manuals. Not likely on a clearance watch.

Don't forget to check the values of items you already have sitting around your house. I found this DVD/CD combo in a storage box last night. 79k is a great rank, so it really does sell.

I just hope someone here is actually DOING something with it.

This is a warning about box sizes. USPS is now charging dimensional weight. UPS has already been doing this. What this means is that shipping rates are charged either by the weight or the box dimensions, whichever is greater.

I packed this item into a box and entered the weight and dimensions into PayPal. The shipping cost was $29! I then repacked it into a slightly smaller box, and the rate dropped to $10 at the same shipping weight.

Order them from USPS for free. Make sure you get the correct one for the service you need (metered vs flat rate). I used metered >95% of the time.

Damn BD! I am curious to know if this is this a side hustle or is it your main source of income.

I know my parents started their 25 year old antique business as a side hustle, but it just grew. People love stuff.

This is still a hobby for now. $138k in sales this year while working a full time job.

That’s damn impressive. This thread has gotten me to start flipping some of my less frequently worn watches to save up for a speedy but I may have to try venturing into some of these categories where you’re having so much success.
