Glycine Ladies Airman review

Post by MeganR »

Hello all,

This is a review of the Glycine Ladies Airman (Airwoman?) Automatic watch. Now, I’m not normally a fan of wide bezels but this one is somehow just chunky enough to be appealing. The bezel is brushed silver, surrounded by a textured edge, and can be rotated to indicate a different time zone. It goes well with the straight wide hands (which have a very nice lume) and is balanced by the subtle mother-of-pearl face. After holding it under a light the lume will last all night. It has a screw-in crown, which I'm not a huge fan of, but as it seems to keep good time (I'm not having to reset it often) this is not a big deal.

Glycine is not a brand that has appealed to me in the past; in particular, I was not a fan of the Glycine Moon Phase. However, I like this one very much.
