As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

It was actually too nice outside for me to start in. Plus the city planted new flowers and trees are starting to bloom!
Put on this beauty for the color and really glad I did.

Tool Watch Tuesday compliant with my wedding watch. This really is a great little piece, and the dial is so wildly different depending on lighting.

It wasn’t watching videos of the Speedmaster while wearing the Speedmaster that let me know that I had it bad...it was taking a picture of it...

Tool Watch Tuesday you say? Tuna Tuesday works too but sounds dirty somehow.

Not as much as I would be if the bracelet were sized.Stretch44 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:39 pmI think someone is smitten...Split-Time wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:09 pm It wasn’t watching videos of the Speedmaster while wearing the Speedmaster that let me know that I had it bad...it was taking a picture of it...

I've resized my Speedy and Seamaster, it wasn't that difficult. I have a bergeon 1.6 mm. Just make sure you keep track of the tiny screws.Split-Time wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:47 pmNot as much as I would be if the bracelet were sized.Stretch44 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:39 pmI think someone is smitten...Split-Time wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:09 pm It wasn’t watching videos of the Speedmaster while wearing the Speedmaster that let me know that I had it bad...it was taking a picture of it...

Thanks for the link. I ordered one. Before I psyched myself out of trying, I read a couple of different sizes people were talking about using. Now we will see how brave I am. I used to wrench on cars but somehow that particular bracelet worries me.Stretch44 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 10:03 pmI've resized my Speedy and Seamaster, it wasn't that difficult. It started raining out of nowhere right after I got the meat on the grill. The bottom fell out right after I got back inside.
On another note I ordered five more of these single pass elastic straps today .

That will throw a wrench in the plans for sure. Doesn’t happen often, but man it’s a pain when it does. Glad you were able to get inside before the bottom fell out!Split-Time wrote:It started raining out of nowhere right after I got the meat on the grill. Did you order the stretch singles from CheapestNatos? I’ve been sitting/holding off on ordering some, but my resistance is fading.

That's because slightly stripping the edges of a bolt on a strut mount is whatever. Stripping the screw on the bracelet or god forbid scratching it? Fak me! I would say go for it, but Don't force anything. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.Split-Time wrote:Thanks for the link. I ordered one. I am in no way saying this is some sort of impossible task. Just that you are working on a $500 ish bracelet and to keep that in mind.
