As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Show your watch on a New Strap or Bracelet.

Post by PetWatch »

A simple change of strap or bracelet can dramatically alter the overall look of a watch. It can add a welcome addition of excitement, help to find a more suitable combination for any occasion or simply reinvigorate what may have become an all too mundane look.

I posted this a while back, but changing the strap definitely makes a watch feel new again.

That green rubber looks AMAZING on that watch. Wow!

Here's mine. This is the best watch for NATOs I've ever owned. I'm a big fan of how this old school Bond looks on it.

To get strap and bracelet ideas for your watch do a google search and look under images.

I do this but instead I search the model number using a hashtag on Instagram. For example, try searching #sarb017 and 12,000 pics will show up. Plenty of great pictures

Brightening things up.

Recently bought a bunch of straps, still coming in, and I don't always remember the watch they where for. Lol

What model Bulova is that? I don't think I've ever seen it.

96B228, getting hard to find and prices have gone up substantially from what I paid a couple years ago. There are other models with yellow outlines, all black, bracelets and chrono's. Search for Bulova Sea King. Big watch, about 48mm and heavy, wears well.

One of my favorites.

Alright, if that's what you want to call it. I don't know what you had on it before but I'll hazard a guess that it was quite different.

Sometimes a change can make it feel like getting a new watch.
