Now that I've seen it in a video, it looks good. May take some self-convincing to accept the cyclops but what can you do.
Cyclops easy to remove...Just graze with a flame to melt the glue, then slide a razor blade under. Did this with my Stuhrling Batman and was easier than I thought.

I may be mistaken, but thought I read the cyclops was under the crystal. But likely wrong.

Far and wide I will find 'em and I ride 'em
Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find
I'd try a heat gun before a flame on the magnifier, just in case.
I'm afraid I'd apply too much heat with a flame and melt the crystal gasket or worse!
Heat gun can work also. For me it was difficult to localize the heat from a gun to a 1.2cm square...a small butane torch was just easier for precision as I did not want to heat the whole watch.

In order to reduce damage of the crystal gasket and chapter rings, I advise the usage of soldering irons.
A concentration of high heat that has no risk in damaging the periphery of the cyclops and contact-only heat transfer.

I know there are plenty of very vocal people that enjoy nit-picking these new Alpinists to death but I think they look like great watches. Any complaints I have are minor and completely overshadowed by the positives. This cream dial SPB119 would be my pick.
