New Zelos Abyss 3 is available now:

The big draw here is 3000 meter WR. Sellita movement.

The turbine rotates slowly and acts as a second hand. The 2-o'clock crown is a manual helium escape valve. Not exactly clear why the turbine models don't have the second crown, though.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I couldn't find anything about that either. At 18.5mm thick and with that extended first center link on top of 51mm L2L, I'm guessing it's going to wear like a brick. But it does look really cool, especially the bronze. The one below costs $130 more because turbine but I think it would be my pick.

Yes. Of course I forgot the most important detail, which is that these available now for between $570 and $750. These are definitely beasts but I think 3000m for less than $600 is a great deal.

In 1969 four scientists set a record by spending 60 days submerged underwater. When they weren't diving to study ocean life they were in an underwater habitat and lab called the Tektite I. All four men wore the same Certina dive watch. The upcoming watch pictured below, the Certina DS Super PH500M Special Edition, is a reinterpretation of that watch.

A bit big and I’m scared of the L2L, but damn that’s a sexy watch! This and the DS PH200M are beauties from Certina.

You might remember that last year Junghans release some of their Max Bill watches with black PVD cases and red accents and date wheels. Now they have announced a few new models without the red accents and changing the pvd case to an anthracite color. Another thing that may be new here (not certain) is an automatic in 34mm as opposed to hand-wind only in that size.

Kind of cheap thrill. A new release from Orient. Sign up for an email will give you a code for 15% off. As far as I'm concerned, a great price for a great diver with in-house movement.
MSRP$460.00
Price $240.00 (rubber band) - 280.00 ( solid bracelet) before any codes.

Davosa USA release.
Not sure about the fairness of pre-order price.

Got an email about a new colorway of the Stowa Partitio. Looks great, IMO. Price stings a little bit -- 806 euro not including VAT.

The email also says that due to scarcity of ETA movements this and next year they are raising their prices across the board 3- to 8-percent starting Feb. 3. So if you had your eye on a new Stowa, get it now.

This version isn’t handwound though. Smh.
