Oh my...
That dial with SS hands, case and bracelet please Glycine. You know you can do it!
Edit: Although leaving "COMBAT" on the dial seems a bit incongruous even if it is the name of the line. It's not a functional field watch with those hands.
Oh my...
I love enamel dials... In vintage, nothing else is as good at standing the test of time.TheJohnP wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 10:06 pm If you've wanted input in an upcoming watch design, Vario is giving you a chance to be heard.
Vario is working on a WWI style automatic trench watch. They are looking for input from customers and the watch community to see if they will make this and the specs and features people are wanting.

The current sample features a 36mm diameter case, Miyota 82s5 Auto (hack and wind), enamel dial with lumed numerals and lumed hands, 19mm wired lugs but I will try to extend to 20.5mm to take 20mm straps. I am currently looking for a vendor who can make me a single pass leather with bund piece for versatility.
Watch will likely cost US$250+- for pre-orders and around $350+ for retail.

I agree. I am probably in the minority here but I'd love for them to stick with the idea of a 36mm case vs a 38 or even larger for this (the options are available for people to pick in the survey). I wonder why this movement not the 9015? Probably cost...ManOnTime wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 10:34 amIf this makes it to production, it will be irresistible.TheJohnP wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 10:06 pm If you've wanted input in an upcoming watch design, Vario is giving you a chance to be heard.

However some of them are finally available from retailers. I believe there may be more so please add to this if you come across any. Yea, even if I'm not wild about the hour hand, I otherwise really like both of those plus the GL0269. If I didn't already have a GL0185 on the way. Also, I didn't post them because they aren't really my thing but there no less than 16 new 46mm models of the Combat Sub listed at the link below. The page still doesn't have every new one I've seen out there so there may be even more.Boourns wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 8:07 amThis or the 260 may be my first glycine.yinzburgher wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 6:58 amJust adding one that I managed to miss with my previous posts.
