That all-SS model is fantastic but for some reason it bothers me that they went with a bezel insert instead of a one piece bezel.
I feel the same way!!

Yema has just released their new model, the Pearldiver.
It is the very first model designed by a fan, Marin Ravenel, via their collaborative platform YEMA CoLabs.

The Pearldiver is a professional diving watch strongly inspired by the YEMA Navygraf II of the 1970s, in particular the original bezel markers, the black coated hands and the white lollipop seconds hand. It is equipped with the new In-house Caliber YEMA2000 and a Hesalite Superdome crystal in the pure tradition of vintage models.

Available for preorder now with 10% off and a free watch roll.
Pricing starts at $620 with a tropic or leather strap, or $674 with a stainless bracelet.

Great looking watch with an in-house for less than $700? Pretty freaking awesome, IMO.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I’m loving that these don’t use Zodiac's god-aweful STP movements! I either missed it or it wasn't mentioned, but are these two models exclusive to WindUp? I'm just curious if I can hold out hope to score the steel bezel from somewhere else at a potential discount.
Apparently not exclusive because they are also now on Zodiac's site HERE. But the fact that they are limited production makes me think it won't be very easy to score big discounts.

I really like this, and the price is good. However, it smacks strongly of the OG 6204 Submariner.

In the scheme of Merci watches, this one does not suffer from the Hodinkee price inflation. The normal mechanical LMM-01 are also $500.

It's actually a bargain on Hodinkee. Direct from Merci, it's 500€ ($593USD) plus shipping and they do not appear to remove VAT.

I think it's the same manufacture caliber as the Yonger & Bresson from the same group, Ambre Watches. And you can sometimes find them in the bay by the hundred and some euros.
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32&p=46690&hilit=bresson#p46690

The quality of finishes is somewhat poor in the Y&B, however. Nevertheless, it is an economical way to have a French-made watch, which a Pequignet or an L. Leroy is worth many more euros.

And speaking of my upper neighbors... (I live about 100 kilometers from the French border)

Benarus has brought back their 38mm Moray, this time in a bronze case. Not sure when exactly these were released but likely recently.

https://www.benaruswatch.com/moray-38-bronze

With current discount code "GWW", the price is US$519.20.

3 dial variations in building material. Steel, copper and wood. This is the steel version.
Miyota 9039 movement, quick release integrated bracelet with adapter for leather straps.

I’ll post more info on this as it becomes available.
