For Black Friday, Maurice Lacroix is releasing a new limited edition collab model instead of a sale.

This Black Friday, Maurice Lacroix is stepping outside the box for the unveiling of a new AIKON Automatic. Developed in collaboration with Geneva-based watchmaker Label Noir, the piece plays with shades of black and anthracite.

This limited edition model, of which only 50 will be produced, showcases all the traditional AIKON features with a 42 mm diameter case, screw-down crown and bezel, with the six arms characteristic of AIKON. Its water resistance to 200 metres has of course been maintained. This model sports a black calfskin strap that has been worked over to give it a textile look, featuring the embossed M logo. The strap closes by means of a triple folding buckle which has also been coated in black PVD.

Maurice Lacroix x Label Noir Aikon Limited Edition automatic, model # AI6008-DLBO1-230-2
Cost is $2,590

Fauxtina. Please, Watchmakers of the World, make it stop.

Wolbrook tells me that they will bring out a no-date-magnifier version of their three-hander version, too.

One day I'll remove the magnifier on mine. The (hopefully) sapphire crystal will be no worse for wear when I'm done.

oh hahahaha I was just thinking they looked quite like the SLA017 including the case shape. Not a complete copy though.

I don't know about their watch quality, sorry. I think they have a pretty good fanbase if that means anything.

Helson has finally released more Shark Diver Titanium in 38mm. If the 40mm I tried on was any indication, the SDs should be well made and fit large becaue of the big lugs. The green is new for this batch. There will also be a brushed red version coming out soon (Christmas colors!). It seems all of them have color-matching date wheels except the grey.

Milus have released an ice blue version of their historic Snow Star model. Pitted as a traveler's watch, it's sensibly sized at 39mm, 9,45 deep and 47 lug to lug. The specifications are cool: a case made of 904L (Rolex) steel, rhodium plated hands and an ETA 2892 movement with blued screws and finely crafted rotor, though not on display. As there is no lume on these watches, this blue model may offer better legibility then the black version.
Somebody or their uncle, lend me 1690 CHF so I can " Be Milus Ice Blue" please :)

I guess I'm late to post this here, fifty percent of the batch has been preordered already. Available early 2021.
